Iris Aguilella Martínez (Iris Prinses) was born march 12,1983 in Valencia (Spain). Until she was five, she lived in Betxí, Castellón. Then the family moved to Onda, where she started Classical Ballet studies.
When she was 18, she moved to Valencia where she started acting. She got an acting degree at the Actor Estudio Nova Imatge. She debuted at the Teatro Nova Imatge. She worked in a number of plays, Chejóv’s The Bear among them, as the leading actress. She was awarded First Prize at the Festival de Artes Escénicas Nova Imatge in dance category.
In 2005 she specialized in dance and singing at Off Institute. Then she got the role of Roxie Hart, main character of Chicago, the Musical, played at the Teatro Off Valencia, her best experience on stage. The same year, she was also part of Valencia’s Festival de Artes Escénicas.
She worked in his first advertising spot in 2006.
In Madrid, 2007, she specialized in Action Stunt. Very found of action and sports, she sees herself fit playing an action role.
She has worked in a number or television and short film projects as an actress.
In 2008, she worked in the film Pagafantas, directed by Borja Cobeaga as well as in the blockbuster TV series Sin tetas no hay paraíso. She was the first role of the El abrazo de Iris, a short film directed by Julio García Escames and Jesús Rabasco Espinar.
At the beginning of 2009, she attended a Melodrama course in Paris, under the direction of Paola Rizzo.
She has been directed again by Julio García Escames in the short film Inteligente. |
